The mission of Spencer and Kerstin Block, who created Cat Mountain Station, was to create a Southwestern Tucson community highlight - a retail center focused on the arts and on local craftspeople. This mission has been accomplished. The delightful variety of goods in the shops draws folks from nearby and afar. Coyote Pause Café has been praised by local restaurant reviewers, is adored by the local residents, and sought out by visitors. The powerful telescopes at Spencer's Observatory exhibits a phenomenal view of Tucson's clear dark skies, a stargazer's heaven all year around. Our warm and friendly atmosphere has made this a community gathering place, and all of us are very happy to be here.
